Role: Senior Business Development Manager

Salary: £50k-60k Basic £75-80k OTE

Location: London / UK Wide / Remote

Ideal Candidates will have a minimum of 4 years B2B Sales experience preferably in Recruitment, Training or Learning Services

The Role: 

With your consultative sales approach and networking skills you will drive new business opportunities and expand existing services within the current client portfolio. The Solution Sales Lead will contribute and exceed Business Plan targets through opportunity identification, account growth through introduction of new service lines and new business acquisition through prospecting techniques. 

We are looking for a Sales Professional with a strong business development background. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business objectives, with the aim of maximising our sell of value-added services, whilst providing a strategic approach on how we service all our clients and achievement of financial budgets across a portfolio of new and existing business 

• Driving stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of pre identified clients in conjunction with the account management teams. Map out, develop and cultivate key client engagement at the right level, in the ‘buying area’ 

• Identify clients’ requirements and develop accountable solutions to deliver business results and drive innovation for clients 

• To lead and execute client development plans for key client relationships (to deliver revenue against targets per client solution) 

• To identify gaps for both the client and internally, and make strategic recommendations 

• Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure current and prospect clients receive market reports, white papers, invitations to seminars, breakfast and roundtable events. 

• P&L and budget management support including forecasting and business planning 

What we’re looking for: 

• Demonstrable track record of selling a range of exclusive, project and managed service models within the staffing industry 

• Experience of managing the end to end sales process from initial scoping, solution design, bid preparation, presentations 

• Ability to demonstrate extensive and effective stakeholder engagement in addition to working alongside internal teams 

• Business to business outbound sales and account management experience 

• IT & Business Change stakeholder mapping and relationship building. 

• Ability to build and improve long term professional relations with customers/contacts 

• Experience of placing and managing a contractor book. 

• Persuasive and able to use a wide range of influencing, negotiation and selling skills effectively
