Location: North West – Hybrid Role

Salary: Up to £35k Basic and £70k OTE uncapped

As one of their Business Development Managers, you’ll be responsible for acquiring new business, achieving, and exceeding sales targets, as well as building great client relationships with your outstanding personality and five-star service! The Role:

Our new BDM will have a knack for identifying new potential clients and be proactive in creating account plans with a variety of sales activities to secure the sale as well as keep a rolling pipeline of opportunities going. Online demonstrations of their innovative and cutting edge system will be a big part of your role, as well attending face-to-face events! So willingness to travel is a must.

We are looking for a proactive and energetic BDM with the following skills:

A flexible, self-motivated and target driven individual with ambition and determination to succeed. This person will ideally have some formal sales training, prior experience of B2B sales, strong questioning skills, ability to challenge the status quo and seek ‘win-win’ solutions. Bonus points for previous experience within the legal sector!

·Service & Communication:
Excellent customer service is a must for any business, especially one that caters to the public. This means an engaging personality is vital so that everyone feels comfortable working together as they solve problems, resolve customer conflicts and retain customer confidence.

The ability to engage audiences, influence people and drive actions with persuasive communication is a crucial skill for the new BDM.

·Customer Focus:
This is the perfect position for those who love being the voice of their company, helping customers through the onboarding and subsequent handover to their Client Success Manager. Maintaining an engaging tone while seeking out professional feedback and resolving any issues in a timely manner with courtesy at all times 

Someone who can utilize their five-star interpersonal styles in order to establish and develop effective long-term partnerships with clients and colleagues alike would fit particularly well within their exciting company culture!

  • Business:
    Gaining your clients’ trust through gravitas and credibility with the ability to recognise and add value to business opportunities for both your clients and the company. A firm understanding of the customers business and political drivers is essential in order to align them with our services.

Ideally you will have:

  • Demonstrable New Business Sales success
  • Strong time management skills and high energy to maintain the required level of sales activities
  • Stable career background
  • A desire to develop and learn from and be mentored by experienced industry professionals within the company
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills 
  • Great team player, with a passion and desire to make a difference
  • Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills and a strong desire to build long term business relationships
  • Ability to develop quick and strong rapport 
  • Attention to detail and follow-up/ Process driven and takes ownership
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  ZoHo would be advantageous.
  • General understanding of the Legal and Conveyancing industries
  • Full driver’s license
